Allow soap to dry between uses on a well-draining soap dish. Do not let it sit in water. With proper care, these handmade bars can last much longer than commercially made soaps.

Keep soap away from direct shower stream or running water as much as possible to avoid it becoming overly saturated and 'melting.'

If you have any allergies, test the soap on a small patch of skin first or review the list of ingredients with your physician prior to use.

Our soaps are crafted with natural botanical colorants such as pumpkin powder, indigo powder, spinach powder, and activated charcoal. Because these ingredients are plant- and mineral-based, subtle variations in color between batches are natural and expected.

During use, you may notice a release of color — particularly with darker soaps containing indigo or activated charcoal. This is completely normal and part of the natural wash experience. Activated charcoal, in particular, is valued for its purifying qualities and can help draw out excess oil, leaving your skin feeling clean and balanced. We recommend applying the soap directly to your skin for the best results. If you prefer to use a washcloth, please consider choosing a dark-colored one to avoid visible pigment transfer and this natural behavior when making your purchase.
